ELI Goals

  1. Secure significantly increased number of bequests for permanent endowments to sustain and enhance the long term vibrancy of the Jewish community.

  2. Create customized plans and quantitative goals defining the number of gifts to be secured by each participating organization.

  3. Provide community partners with specific skill sets resulting in successful ongoing endowment fundraising.

  4. Build broad public awareness and acceptance in the Jewish community about the power of bequests and endowments.

  5. Establish an ongoing culture of creating bequests for permanent endowments as a priority with community partners which will continue beyond the two-year ELI program period.

  6. Measure success of the ELI through: the number of families creating legacy gifts, the number of organizations benefiting from those gifts, and the number of dollars committed for the sustainability of our community.
