"It Secured My Future" - Beth's Story
“I come from a single parent family. My father passed away in 1995, which was one of the reasons why we moved to Cincinnati.
“My Mom has a two-year college degree and knew she could not afford to send me to college.
Without scholarship support there is absolutely no way that I could have attended college. It secured my future and it is making such a difference in my life. I am literally making a difference in other peoples’ lives too, so it ended up being a continuation.”
There is an 11% increase in people applying for scholarships for traditional schools, and the number is expected to grown next year. (Jewish Vocational Service 09-10 vs. 08-09, supported by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.)
