About Yaron Sideman
Mr. Yaron Sideman is the Consul General of Israel to the mid-Atlantic region, which serves Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, West Virginia, Kentucky and Southern New Jersey. He began his post in 2012, and is the highest-ranking diplomatic official representing Israel in this region.

Mr. Sideman is a graduate of the Israel National Defense College. Most recently, he served as Director of Congressional Affairs at the North American division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was responsible for supervising and directing Israel's relations to the U.S. Congress.
Previously, Mr. Sideman served as head of the North American desk at the Diaspora and Interreligious Affairs Bureau, where he was, among other roles, a liaison of the Foreign Ministry to many American Jewish organizations.
Mr. Sideman's past positions include Consul for Public Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel in New York and Political Officer at the Embassy of Israel in Lagos, Nigeria.

Mr. Sideman holds a master's degree in political science from Haifa University and a B.A. in psychology and philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
