Congregations Ohav Shalom and B’nai Tzedek are two separate organizations with different histories and cultures…and we have merged.
We are now Congregation Etz Chaim
Now – we seek to share that affirmation with our congregants and the community at a joyful celebration on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2pm. This will be the event that we will tell our children and grandchildren, when we recount the tale of the founding of our new Synagogue. This will be a one of a kind ceremony and celebration which we are creating to officially unite as one new Synagogue family and entity. This will be similar to a wedding celebration. We have courted each other, dated each other, and unanimously decided to unite, or marry if you will. Congregants will create a canopy under which this joyous celebration will occur.
