About the exhibits:

Holy Sparks: Celebrating 50 Years of Woman in the Rabbinate ( May 19 - September 4, 2022 ) is the story of 24 pioneering rabbis’ lives and achievement, illuminated in the works of 24 leading contemporary Jewish women artists in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the ordination of Rabbi Sally J. Priesand as the first woman rabbi in North America.

Presented in partnership with The Braid and the HUC Dr. Bernard Heller Museum.

Sally Priesand Paves the Way ( May 19, 2022 - May, 2023 ) features never-before seen documents relating to Sally J. Priesand's journey to becoming the first woman rabbi ordained in North America. Visitors will also be able to view unique memorabilia and personal artifacts recently donated by Rabbi Priesand which are now preserved in the collection of the American Jewish Archives.
