Rock in the Red Zone
Tuesday, February 16 • 7:30pm
Kenwood Theatre
Situated on the outskirts of conflict-addled Gaza, Sderot is a city of factory workers, children of refugees, and an epicenter of rock music. In a community fraught with rocket fire, underground bomb shelters have become the birthplace of resilience, creativity, and rock n’ roll. Director Laura Bialis powerfully explores the lives and art of musicians struggling
to create in a conflict zone.
