Jewish Family Service presents the professional development program “From Victim to Perpetrator: Shifting Identities in the Eyes of the Law” with Joshua Safran. Safran will examine the messy real world of intimate partner battering and its effects. Registration is $25, which includes 1.5 Attorney CLEs or Social Work CEs.
Joshua Safran is an attorney, author, a nationally recognized champion for the rights of women, and a zealous advocate for survivors of domestic violence and the wrongfully imprisoned. He was featured in the award-winning documentary Crime After Crime, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, and author of the acclaimed memoir that is scheduled to become a movie, Free Spirit: Growing Up On the Road and Off the Grid.
