Topic: Women in America: How Far We Have Come, Yet How Far We Still Have to Go
June Zeitlin is the Director of Human Rights Policy at The Leadership Conference, the nation's premier civil and human rights coalition. Ms. Zeitlin also leads the CEDAW Education Project, which is a broad coalition effort to educate policymakers and the public about the importance of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) for advancing women's rights worldwide, including in the United States. She has been a leader on women's issues for many years and has extensive international and domestic public policy experience.
