From the Hartman Institute:
After six tumultuous months, 2020 has left us with more questions than ever. But Jewish learning is guided by questions and these are the four major ones driving the Hartman summer experience:
-
What are our moral priorities and responsibilities in a time of crisis?
-
Where will we find spiritual sustenance in this time of loss?
-
How is the meaning of 'home' changing?
-
How does transformation emerge in a time of pandemic, disruption, and catastrophe?
Join us this summer, as we throw open our Beit Midrash for everyone to study today's big ideas together -- free of charge. In addition to major public learning sessions, All Together Now will feature small discussion groups designed for specific groups such as clergy, lay leaders, students, Hillel professionals, Jewish communal professionals, and philanthropists. For the four weeks between June 29 to July 23, 2020 scores of Hartman faculty and expert guests will teach lectures, electives and seminars for “All Together Now: Jewish Ideas for This Moment,” an unprecedented, month-long celebration of Jewish ideas.
