Dr. Karla Goldman, Professor of Social Work and Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan, will address the historical experiences of Jews and African Americans in the US, the Black Lives Matter Movement, and perspectives on Jewish identity in American life today.
Feb. 11:
Rabbi Juan Mejia will discuss Jews of Color
Mar. 11, April 15, May 13:
T. Wise will discuss the History of Anti-Black, Poverty/Affordable Housing, and Public education/school to prison pipeline violence
June 10 & July 15:
Dr. Schottenstein will discuss the History of Black/Jewish Relations
