The Department of Judaic Studies offers the academic study of Judaism within the broadest context of world civilization. Students include University of Cincinnati (UC) undergraduates, returning students, seminarians, and other who are interested in expanding their knowledge of Jewish civilization and command of the Hebrew language. The Lichter Lecture series brings world-renowned scholars to UC share for the benefit of students, academics and the general community.
