2017 Women of the Year: Sandy Kaltman forges understanding in Cincinnati

Originally published by Cincinnati.com

Sandy Kaltman has devoted hundreds of volunteer hours to forging understanding among people across Greater Cincinnati. She knew well enough that the journey never ends. But in the months since the 2016 election, she felt that in some ways, the work had just begun.

“A lot of us in Cincinnati grew up thinking it wasn’t a big issue, but a lot of the religious intolerance and hatred that emerged in the last election campaign made us all rethink that issue,” she said.

Kaltman is one of the 10 exceptional women selected for this year’s The Enquirer and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation Women of the Year award. More >
