In response to US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital last week, Israel has witnessed a surge in violence and terror attacks. An Israel border security guard was stabbed today in the West Bank. Terrorists opened fire on an Israeli passenger bus carrying students near the town of Ofra in Samaria, north of Jerusalem Sunday night. In addition, on Tuesday two Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants riding a motorcycle in Gaza were killed in an explosion, which the group implied was caused by an accidental detonation during preparations for an attack.
