After the death of his 19-year-old daughter,Vic Strecher’s grief drove him to truly examine how we live, and how we can live better. Strecher is an educator, author, and Professor and Director for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan School of Public Health who stresses that individuals who live with purpose lead fuller, longer, healthier lives. His journey is documented and expanded upon in his book, On Purpose, which is part self-help guide, part college lecture, part confessional, and part time-travel adventure.
