Bob tells the story of his mother’s experiences before, during, and after the Holocaust.  Fallout from the Third Reich’s reign of terror in Eastern Czechoslovakia interrupted Joan’s college education, and shortly led to loss of her family’s farm, 11 months of internment in 3 different concentration camps, and to the murder of almost 30 of her family members. Bob has lived in Cincinnati for the past 50 years. He is retired from careers at Procter & Gamble, Habitat for Humanity, and Cincinnati Public Schools.
