Eli Sharabi was kidnapped by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, and held captive for 491 days. His memoir recounts a hellish ordeal, but “Hostage” is not just an account of the horrors he endured in Gaza, it is about his will to survive. The book is a testimony of the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. He lived it – we are just being asked to read it.

Join together to bear witness as some of our hostages have returned either to start the process of rebuilding their shattered lives or to be laid to rest in our holy soil – come together to start the conversation of where are we and where do we go from here?

When Eli Shabari was asked “How are you getting your life back together?” He responded, “I wake up every morning and say, ‘I choose life,’ again and again.” Join us for a compassionate but needed book discussion in the safety of the Synagogue walls (8100 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249) – We will have coffee, tea, light desserts, hugs and support. Everyone is welcome! RSVPs required
