Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, Richard H. Bernstein, overcame the challenge of being blind from birth to become the nation's first sightless State Supreme Court Justice, the only such State Supreme Court Justice in the county. He will speak at the JCC, Amberley Room, on September 15. At 7:00 PM he will address participants at the Jewish Education for Every Person (JEEP) Tenth Anniversary Dinner. At 8:00 PM, following the dinner, Justice Bernstein will address the entire community on overcoming personal challenges and working to make the world a better place for all people.
