This Thanksgiving, come together with women of the Women’s Philanthropy Division of the Jewish Federation to support the 8th year of our Thanksgiving Mitzvah Project. Bags of donated food and supplies will be packaged and given out to families in need to make complete kosher and non-kosher Thanksgiving meals. In addition to turkey and chicken provided by Jewish Family Service Heldman Family Food Pantry, the care packages will consist of sides, desserts, a turkey-roasting pan and festive holiday napkins.
You are invited to sign up to donate one or two of the items needed to round out this important holiday meal.
You can drop off your donations on Sunday, November 1, between 10 and 11 a.m. at the Mayerson JCC in the back parking lot (near the entrance to the Early Childhood School). The Women's Philanthropy Chairs and Event Hosts will be there to help unpack and sort your donated items.
This initiative is being organized by the Women’s Philanthropy Division of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, in collaboration with Jewish Family Service (JFS) Heldman Family Food Pantry, located at Jewish Family Service Barbash Family Vital Support Center.
Please note, donated items will NOT be collected at the Heldman Family Food Pantry at the Barbash Family Vital Support Center.
