Professor of Jewish history Michael Meyer, Ph.D. will present a lecture-sermon to introduce the life and rabbinate of Dr. Max Lilienthal, Bene Israel's first rabbi. Following services join us in the Heldman Social Hall for Q&A and additional remarks over heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and desserts.
