There is a political crossroads facing the Jewish community. Several issues came together in this election--the rise of antisemitism within mainstream party politics, the growing political polarization over Israel, and the future of U.S. -Israeli relations with the solidication of the rightward shift in Israeli politics.
What potential points of reunification can there be for American Jews, even with the contention over Israel, and the need for a political mobilization against antisemitism in domestic politics as we saw in the 1950s?
