On Sunday, May 1, The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education remembers the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust at the annual community-wide Yom Hashoah commemoration at 2:00 p.m. at the Mayerson JCC. The program includes a moving candle-lighting ceremony by six Holocaust survivors and their family members. All descendants of survivors are asked to light candles in memory of their loved ones at the end of the program.
