Join us for a moving Yom Hashoah commemoration to remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and honor the survivors. The program includes a moving candle-lighting ceremony by six Holocaust survivor families, music, and prayer. All descendants of survivors are asked to light candles in memory of their loved ones at the end of the program. Keynote presenter Dr. Karen Shawn, visiting Associate Professor of Jewish Education at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education at Yeshiva University will speak about Mourning and Mending: Finding the Balance in Holocaust Narrative.
