Antisemitism & Anti-Zionism Across the Political Spectrum: Part 2

12:00PM - 1:00PM

Virtual

Antisemitism is on the rise in America. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reported a 12% rise in incidents, while the FBI cited a 14% increase in antisemitic hate crimes. While the blending of antisemitism and anti-Zionism is present across the American political spectrum, they present in a wide variety of ways. To educate communities about trends on the ground, we are proud to host a 3-part IAN University seminar showcasing the similarities and differences around antisemitic and anti-Zionist rhetoric and actions.

PART TWO: Christian Churches and their Challenges with Antisemitism and anti-Zionism, With Ethan Felson

December 4, 12 – 1 PM EST

Christian churches represent a diverse group from both sides of the political aisle and as institutions that wield great cultural, political, and financial influence. Throughout their histories, almost every major denomination has also grappled with their relationship with Judaism and the Jewish people. For our second part in this series, we are joined by Ethan Felson, Executive Director of A Wider Bridge, for an in-depth look at how denominations both counter and amplify antisemitism and anti-Zionism.
