Four US Congressional candidates will participate in an election forum on Wednesday, October 21, at 7 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on Local 12 WKRC-TV. Your Vote Counts, presented by American Jewish Committee (AJC) Cincinnati Regional Office and the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), the public affairs arm of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, in partnership with Local 12, will serve as the catalyst for the community to learn about the issues central to our diverse population. The program is intended to inform and guide voters as to key political and public policy perspectives.
Your Vote Counts will feature a panel discussion showcasing Democratic and Republican nominees for Congress in Ohio’s 1st and 2nd Districts. Candidates will come together at the same table to answer pressing questions during an issues-driven, moderated dialogue. The Congressional Candidates 2020 Election Forum panel includes incumbents Representatives Steve Chabot and Brad Wenstrup, and challengers Kate Schroder and Jaime Castle. Local 12 anchor Paula Toti will serve as the moderator of this discussion.
