SHAVUOT STUDY: “DETERMINING THE GOOD: A JEWISH PERSPECTIVE”

7:45 PM - Zoom Link Opens - 8:00 PM - Study Session Begins

An ethical person tries to do the right thing at the right moment. That sounds easy enough. The difficulty arises as soon as we try to determine what that “right thing” is! How does Judaism “calculate” the good?

Join us as Rabbi Jonathan Hecht, Dean of the Cincinnati Campus of Hebrew Union College takes us on a journey through a surprising sampling of biblical, rabbinic, and philosophic texts that will reveal Judaism’s answer to this foundational question!

Please Pre-Register Here Before the Study Session

Information to join the Zoom session will be provided after registration.
