We are working with each of our agencies to set metrics.  Agencies and congregations are currently collecting data to set a baseline. When more specific goals are set, we will update the below.

 

90% of Jewish children will attend a congregational school, day school, or a Jewish camp

 

75% of community members will report at least quarterly participation in a congregation, Jewish organization, or agency

 

40% of Jewish young adults under 40 will report feeling connected to the community though a congregation, Jewish organization, or agency

 

75% of Jewish households will report that they feel connected to Israel

ISRAEL HERE
In conjunction with Cincinnati’s teen and young adult trips to Israel, Israel HERE runs a set of pre-trip and post-trip programs for those who travel, to help them deepen their experience while in Israel and bring it back home in a meaningful way. The pre-trip programs include the Yom Ha’Atzmaut Teen Celebration and the Jewish Cincinnati Bus Tour. (Launched)

MARCH OF THE LIVING

A once-in-a-lifetime experience for Jewish high school seniors from around the world, traveling from Poland to Israel.

ONWARD ISRAEL 

Non-paid internships in Israel, in the field of your choice. The goal of Onward Israel is to provide participants with an immersive and transformative resume-building experience in Israel, featuring opportunities such as internships, service learning, academic courses, and fellowships. (Launched)

PARTNERSHIP2GETHER (P2G) DELEGATIONS

P2G partnership provides the opportunity for communities to connect and interpersonal relationships to flourish. P2G delegations connect demographics of people  based on age or profession (people from Cincinnati with people from Netanya, Israel). Delegations to date include: a Social Workers Exchange, a Young Adult Birthright trip, and a Holocaust Educators Exchange.

SYNAGOGUE EDUCATION EXCELLENCE DIRECTIVE (SEED)

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati provides matching funds to our synagogues and temples so that they may hire SEED workers. Enables educator to provides classes, workshops, programs, and events on Jewish culture, issues, celebrations, history, texts and more.
