War in Israel: Update on Current Situation

On June 13, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion—a targeted strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, missile stockpiles, and military leadership. The move followed months of escalating threats from Iran and its terror proxies: Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.

On June 21, the United States launched strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, officially joining Israel in its effort to dismantle Iran's ability to create nuclear weapons.

Since October 7, Israeli civilians have endured near-constant attacks. With diplomacy stalled, Israel acted to prevent an imminent, existential threat. Iran responded by launching hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones at Israeli cities—many aimed at civilians. Israel’s defense systems prevented mass casualties, but the threat remains.
