Our Chaverim M’Israel/Friends from Israel program, orchestrated by Martha Brand Dave, is dedicated to forging stronger ties between Cincinnati and Israel. Through engaging activities, we bring Jewish and non-Jewish communities together, offering insights into Israeli culture. Each year, we welcome two Israeli teens on a gap year before their military service, who bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to our efforts.

The recent bowling event, led by our current Chaverot, Shaked Vatavu, and Shiri Avisar, in partnership with Sycamore and Walnut Hills High Schools' Jewish Student Unions, was a resounding success. With over 30 Jewish and non-Jewish participants, the evening was filled with laughter, competition, and much-needed fun. This event exemplified our commitment to creating inclusive spaces where teens can bridge cultural divides, share their stories, and build friendships.
