Federation Leaders Travel to DC to Push for Security Plan

Our safety is not optional. Our security is not negotiable. We recently joined more than 100 Jewish communities and 50 major organizations that came together in Washington, D.C. with an urgent and unified mission.

Following horrifying antisemitic attacks, including a firebombing in Boulder, arson at the Pennsylvania Governor’s Mansion, and the brutal murders of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky in D.C., we are standing up and speaking out.

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati participated in an Emergency Leadership Mission led by Jewish Federations of North America to advocate for the Jewish Community’s Six-Point Security Agenda, which includes:

  • Increasing Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) funding to $1 billion
  • Federal support for security personnel at Jewish institutions
  • Enhanced FBI intelligence to prevent domestic terror
  • Support for local law enforcement near Jewish spaces
  • Prosecution of antisemitic hate crimes
  • Accountability for tech platforms spreading hate

Our message to lawmakers is clear: The Jewish community cannot—and should not—carry this burden alone. Now is the time for bold action from our government.

You can take action today by contacting Congress and urging them to adopt these critical security measures by clicking here.
