IsraeLENS: Unpacking the Israeli Election—Before the Vote

On October 27, Israelis head to the polls to choose their next Knesset. If the news already feels like a tangle of party names and coalition math, you're not alone.

This is the first Israeli national election since October 7, 2023. What's at stake goes beyond the seat count.

Moria Dafni, our new Community Shlicha (Israeli emissary), will walk us through how Israeli elections actually work: who's running, how a government gets formed, and the questions Israelis are wrestling with right now. Our aim is to explain how the system works and leave the conclusions to you.

This is a conversation built for people who care about Israel and want to follow the election with clear eyes. Bring your questions. Moria will bring the context.

Doors and check-in open at 5:15 PM. Light food and drinks will be served. Space in the board rooms is limited, so save your spot.

This is the first of two gatherings. Join us again on November 5, after the results are in, to unpack what happened.

This is part of IsraeLENS, inviting our community to explore Jewish peoplehood, global complexity, and the rise of antisemitism—before and after October 7—through the lens of Israel, with openness, dialogue, and depth.

Event details: Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM EST at 8485 Ridge Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Register here.
