“I see hope…when we as Jews gather to mark the end of this painful chapter and pray side by side for a better future.”
— Rabbi Sammy Kanter, Director of Jewish Life, Mayerson JCC
As we continue to heal, we’re reminded of all that’s been lost and all that’s changed over the past two years. Many of us have worn symbols of hope and solidarity: hostage dog tags, lapel pins, yellow ribbons, T-shirts, yard signs, and more.
If you feel ready, we invite you to bring these items to the Mayerson JCC as a shared act of remembrance and renewal as a way to honor what we’ve carried together and begin turning our hearts toward peace.
For those not yet ready or unable to attend, drop-off opportunities will continue in the weeks ahead.
Please note, this is an open invitation for shared reflection and connection, offered with care, not obligation.
