At our Lion of Judah Thank You Event: Philanthropy On Pointe on Wednesday, April 23rd, we came together to honor the incredible women who are shaping the future of Jewish Cincinnati through strength, compassion, and purpose. Held at the Cincinnati Ballet, the afternoon featured a moving rehearsal performance of Our Story, a piece by David Morse that carries forward the memory of the Holocaust through movement and dance, that reminds us of the power of resilience.
“Leadership—like dance—is a collective act,” said Danielle Minson, Federation CEO. “We hold the rhythm for each other.”
We proudly celebrated 16 new Lions of Judah, joining a sisterhood of women who each contribute a minimum of $5,000 annually to support Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world. Together, this inspiring group has raised over $1.2 million for the Jewish Federation’s 2025 Annual Campaign—ensuring that our values endure, our community remains strong, and our future stays vibrant.
The Lions’ generosity not only fuels essential programs but also leaves a legacy of leadership for generations to come. In honor of their unwavering commitment, a donation was made to the Israel Emergency Fund, reaffirming that when women lead with heart, they move entire communities forward.
