February News: Shep Englander on legacy & community building; JPAN; more

February eNews:

Shep Englander, our CEO, just had a great article published in eJewish Philanthropy, "Legacy Building is Community Building," about how our Create Your Jewish Legacy program is breaking down silos and giving birth to new trust and collaboration in our community.  "When I was hired as CEO of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati eleven years ago, no goal was more important than building trust and collaboration across our community...."

Events: Adath Israel is hosting a series on “Aging and Jewish Tradition.” Of special interest may be the final session, March 15 (rescheduled date), on "Ethical Wills: What It Is and How to Make One."

Events: Springtime in Cincinnati means the Reds! The Jewish Professional Advisors Network (JPAN) is planning an outing to the Reds Stadium on March 23. JPAN is for those in law, financial planning, insurance, taxes, or accounting. "We bring people together to further our professional development, understand and build connections with community organizations, and network with one another—join us!" says Ken Heldman, JPAN member and organizer of this event.
